It’s That Time of Year Again!

You know FrightFest – the annual film festival of all things horrific – is fast approaching when the organisers release images of the poster which will accompany the event. Running during the August Bank Holiday weekend – from Thursday 22nd to Monday 26th August – at the Cineworld cinema in London’s Leicester Square, the popular event is celebrating its twentieth anniversary this year, which the new poster by artist Graham Humphreys makes clear in graphic neon detail.

Another now regular feature of the festival is the accompanying FrightFest film guide, which this year focuses on Werewolf movies, and all things lycanthropic. The cover of the book by occult and dark arts specialist Gavin Baddeley certainly leaves the reader with no doubts as to its subject matter, and will be officially launched at FrightFest when Gavin – and Dog Soldiers‘ director Neil Marshall, who writes the foreword – will be on hand to sign an exclusive hardback edition.
