With under eight months to go before the release of what promises to be one of the year’s most hotly anticipated movies, the news for the next instalment in the long-running James Bond film franchise is beginning to feed through on an almost daily basis. Today saw the circulation of the official teaser poster for SPECTRE, the 24th official Bond film, and it’s as looks ambiguous as the synopsis for the film sounds. A moody, black clad Daniel Craig dominates the image, with the word SPECTRE emblazoned across his chest in capital letters.
The little information that is revealed about the storyline claims that this time round we see Bond investigating the origins of the shady organisation, which he has come up against several times since his adventures first hit the big screen in the early 1960s. Meanwhile back in London M appears to have his work cut out as he battles to save the very future of the secret service. Which all promises a potentially explosive mix, but also to keep audiences guessing as to what SPECTRE will offer up come November.
