Combining two of cinema and popular cultures most successful and iconic creations – Batman and LEGO – it almost goes without saying that the upcoming LEGO Batman Movie will be a smash hit when released this weekend.

However, in order to give the new blockbuster some additional promotional help, the LEGO design company Bright Bricks created a mega Batarang which crash landed on London’s South Bank this week.  The giant installation which utilises 35,000 LEGO bricks will be at Observation Point, Southbank, 58–72 Upper Ground, Gabriel’s Wharf, London, SE1 9LT, until 8pm tonight, and looks set to garner even more interest in what will already be one of the must see family movies this half-term break.
