Empire, the world’s biggest selling movie magazine, and Clarion Events are delighted to announce To Infinity and Beyond – 25 Years of Pixar showcasing at Empire Presents BIG SCREEN.

Pixar, a subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company, has been producing animation for 25 years but it is arguably Pixar’s first feature film 16 years ago which begun the successful run of animation films that Pixar is most known for today. Toy Story was first released in the UK in 1995 and launched a host of Pixar films, including two sequels which have delighted fans and families the world over.

BIG SCREEN is delighted to offer fans the chance to see ALL twelve Disney.Pixar films where they belong: on the big screen for the first time ever. This will also give younger fans the chance to see their favourite Disney.Pixar films on the big screen for the very first time.  Young and old fans of the Disney.Pixar movies alike will be able to watch each film on the big screen in chronological order with each individual original short film shown before. Also preceding each Disney.Pixar screening will be a sneak peek of forthcoming spectacular Brave, a story of Scottish Princess Merida who defies her parents and jeopardises her father’s kingdom in the process. Featuring the voice talent of Kelly McDonald (Boardwalk Empire, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2), Robbie Coltrane (Harry Potter Film Series, Cracker) and Emma Thompson (Nanny McPhee) Brave is certain to continue Disney.Pixar’s run of box office successes.

Robin Yacoubian

Robin Yacoubian has been the Editor of Flickfeast for more years than he cares to remember. He has always had an appetite for film that borders on unhealthy and outwardly extols the merits or World and Indie cinema, whilst secretly loving nothing better than a good blockbuster If asked what his favourite film was he would always reply "Not the Shawshank Redemption". Not that it is a bad film… far from it... just not his favourite.
