Remember, remember, the 5th of November!

The 2010 Cornwall Film Festival is running from the 5th-7th of November and it’s got some great treats in store for movie fans. There are a number of highly acclaimed British and international feature films on offer over the weekend.

The Arbor is a docu-drama about the Bradford playwright Andrea Dunbar (writer of Rita, Sue and Bob Too!). Skeletons is a quirky black comedy that impressed at the Edinburgh Film Festival earlier this year. Red Hill is an action-packed Australian thriller about a police officer’s first day. Then there is the much anticipated finale to the film adaptations of Stieg Larsson’s Millennium trilogy, The Girl who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest, and Mike Leigh’s new film, Another Year.

Plus there are a whole host of documentaries to look forward to, including Catfish (social networking), Restrepo (the Afghan war) and Countdown to Zero (nuclear arms race).

The organisers of the festival say this year’s goal is to appeal to more people than ever before, and with this line-up, they’ve definitely succeeded.
