This September sees a blockbuster reimagining of one of cinema’s greatest interpretations of a story from bible times – BEN-HUR. The big screen treatment of the story of a Jewish prince who is pitted against his one time Roman friend in the arena in Rome was a smash hit in 1959 for director William Wyler and stars Charlton Heston and Jack Hawkins. The story has now been given a new lease of life by Paramount featuring Jack Huston and Morgan Freeman and, going by the latest trailer, looks set to give the original an epic run for its money.
BEN-HUR will be released in 2D and 3D in UK cinemas, on the 7th September, 2016.
